Specialists of the National Drug Control Directorate (DNCD) shot at a married couple while they were traveling in a vehicle with their family from La Romana to San Pedro de Macoris.
They were Aneudy Pilier and his better half Rosángela, who were traveling with their four children, their mother Celeste Paulino and her sister, Alondra Paulino, who were shot several times by DNCD agents. Aneudy Pilier was hit in the back.
According to family members, Aneudy was taken by DNCD officers to the El Coral facility, where she underwent a crisis medical procedure.
In view of the DNCD's reaction, this institution informed that it suspended and continued with the discharge of five individuals from the organization, " stated a public communiqué from the organization.
According to the DNCD, the five individuals, two specialists and three from the Armed Forces, are being treated.
